Zac Mason Is Braver Than He Will Ever Know

Zac Mason speaks from the heart. He doesn’t mince words and can often use foul language. I think it’s a testament to how “raw” his feelings of paranoia and social anxiety can be. This video really sums up the insecurity that many SA sufferers face on a daily basis.

I like how Zac talks a bit about the mundane challenges that social anxiety sufferers face regularly. The simple social interactions involved in running an errand can completely crush your confidence.

In this video, Zac recollects a time he had to run up to a movie counter to ask a question regarding a showtime.

He was immediately immersed in the awkward stares of teenagers hanging around the lobby area. Zac is pretty candid here and I respect his honesty.

He’s simply not into the “all eyes on you” factor that comes with showing up to a situation where a group or crowd are already present and in people-watching mode.

Thank you Zac for sharing what is on the minds of so many people dealing with social anxiety. I know some of the visitors here may find your tone to be a bit “crude” (for lack of a better word), but your unfiltered voice resonates incredibly with anyone who has ever felt the overwhelming sense of insecurity and isolation described here.
